The manual safety is a great added feature as I am familiar with the style ambidextrous safety. Safety works flawlessly. The grip is a significant upgrade to the stock grip. I decided to try the thumb safety on this XL. Amazingly fast shipping! Great job guys!! Perfect solution. Easy swap, I used the XL version on both guns so that I could then standardize on the 12 round magazine for both gun without the mag bottom collars required on the P for the 12 round mag.

Thank you. The grip and safety upgrade is really nice and an easy install. Only issue and you are not told is the slide catch lever will not be accessible with this upgrade.
I had to fit down the little lip to make the work and compatible. It scuffs up the grip slightly but it the only way to get it to work. Wish Gray Guns would not this for people that may not know this. Excellent texture on the grip, safety, was easy to install and works perfectly. I wanted this because I carried a for years and am used to the frame safety. Good addition to my XL. Thanks for a well made product. I didn? Easley installed.. Five Star's.. I just does not get any easier. Wish I had done this sooner! Simply rotate the end of the safety almost 90 degrees up and and it will slide in place. Press the detent in and you have a magnificent carry gun that you can carry safely without a holster. All pistols should have this option. Thanks Sig Sauer! Got a cutout kit from another online vendor and that went well for another grip I had Thanks Sig.
Cutting the frame with no template or instructions was tricky. Including a small slip of paper with those on it would really help!

This is one easy installation. And the price is what is to be expected. The installation was easy, but you have to be careful because it's easy to detach the "takedown safety" bar part That bar is annoying to get back in if you're not sure how it works and fits. Luckily, there's a few good YouTube videos on how to fix that. Otherwise, the videos on the safety installation is super duper easy. Put spring and detent into the lever rotation area, and slip the lever's rotation into an already existing pocket in the FCU.
Made purchase, and it was promptly delivered. No worries here. Easy to install. Used a dremel to modify the grip module. The Youtube video is great. Just make sure the takedown lever is in the closed position first. Has a satisfying snap to it, but it's also quiet if you slide it slowly.
I wish it was a little cheaper though. I also ordered the replacement grip, but using a Dremel to your original grip would be a simple op. The inventory level for the following product is below what you ordered, so we could not proceed with the checkout.

It's always a pleasure doing business with Sig Sauer Parts. Easy install with basic skills and a YouTube instructional video. Authentic Sig parts. Would recommend. Came in individual bags. Watch videos on YouTube and was easy. It was stiff at first but had to lube it up. Com made it simple, and was fast. Installed like a dream. But if you? Prefer a safety when appendix carrying. Converted a non safety gun. Arrived in 3 days. Just watch the small parts. Great buy and works amazing.
Good product with everything you need. I was unable to find my pistol with it factory installed so I was stoked when I found out I could upgrade my self. Only a single pin needs to be removed for the the installation and then put back in place.
Couple of tips: Watch a youtube video of the install. You need to rotate the takedown lever by CAREFULLY pushing on the slide release and lever at the same time once you get the slide off the video should show you how to do this. Once you do that the safety drops right into place. Super easy to install. Shipping was quick. Highly recommend this product and company. Separate grip module also allows for color options.
